General Rules

1. Students will not be allowed to enter into the library room without a valid library card.
2. Users have to sign the register before entering the library.
3. Bags are to be kept in the rack (extreme left corner of the library entrance) before entering the library room.
4. Keep your cell phones in silent mode.
5. Strict silence should be maintained inside the library.
6. Users should not carry any eatables inside the library room.
7. Users have to immediately report to the library authority at the loss of library card and borrowed books.
8. Disciplinary action would be taken at the damaging, scratching, marking, mutilating and mal-handling of books, magazines and other library materials.
9. Your good conduct with the library staffs is highly appreciated.
10. Users should inform the library authority at the change of their contact no. and other contact details.
11. Users are requested to read journals (online & offline) on regular basis and maintain the journal/magazine register on the basis of each visit.

Rules Regarding Borrowing of Books and References

1. Students can borrow two books at a time.
2. Reference book of a single copy cannot be borrowed. Students have to read it within the library premise.
3. Magazines/journals are not for lent.

Rules Regarding the Return of Books

1. Teachers have to return books within 15 days.
2. Students have to return books within 7 days.

Rules Regarding Fine

1. Students have to pay over- due charges for late return of the book.
2. Over-due charge is Rs. 1 per day per book.
